Electro Graphic's design department can work with a wide variety of electronic files. For accurate reproduction of customer
artwork, detailed notes and proofs should be attached. We use Windows based software. Color call-outs of PMS numbers if possible
are helpful.
Vector files.
This type of art is made up of points and curves, and can be reproduced at any size without loss of clarity or distortion.
Make sure any fonts are included or converted to outlines before sending, or attach a folder containing all the fonts in your
artwork.
Missing fonts can cause delays in your job!
We can work in the latest versions of CorelDraw (ver.11 or older), or Illustrator (ver. 10 or older), and preferred formats
are EPS, AI, and CDR.
Bitmap Files
Bitmaps are picture files, made at a certain resolution. Mainly for print, these files can become quite large at higher
dots per inch. We can handle large files, but please call before-hand, so we know they're coming. If you have a small file
at low resolution, we
will not be able to reproduce it larger without reconstruction charges. Some bitmap files may need to be re-created as
vector art for production purposes.
We can work in latest version of Photoshop and preferred formats are PSD, TIF, BMP, JPG.
If you have a very large file to send, please upload it and call to confim reciept of file!
We can read from CD, DVD, and I-Omega 100mb disk (Windows) and files compressed with the ZIP format.
We cannot work with Autocad, Quark Express files, or artwork embedded in word processing files.
